SpaceX’s Falcon9 rocket, which was carrying supplies to the International Space Station, erupted Sunday morning shortly after liftoff.
There was no one onboard, therefore there were no reported injuries.
NASA is not sure what caused the explosion and is still trying to investigate the problem.
This is the second failed ISS shipment. A Russian cargo ship spun out of control and came down in April and last October another company's supply ship was destroyed in a launch accident.
